Video Editor

About the Role:

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a talented Video Editor to join our creative team at Nice One. As a Video Editor, you will have the chance to shape our visual story, ensure high-quality video content, and enhance our brand’s presence across diverse platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble raw footage, cut sequences, and enhance videos for final production.
• Collaborate closely with the creative team, including directors and other stakeholders, to grasp project scope and objectives.
• Utilize professional editing software to create engaging and dynamic video content.
• Integrate music, effects, graphics, and other elements to enhance the viewer’s experience.
• Review and revise content based on feedback, ensuring consistent visual and audio quality.
• Maintain a library of project files and outputs effectively.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously improve video quality.
• Work within tight deadlines and manage several projects simultaneously.
• Ensure all final edits are compelling and aligned with Nice One’s brand guidelines.

• Bachelors degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of work.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and best practices for web publishing.
• Excellent storytelling skills and a keen eye for visual composition and detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
• Experience with color grading, motion graphics, and sound design is a plus.
• Ability to take constructive criticism and effectively implement feedback.
