Role Models is a UK-based company dedicated to providing engaging in-person courses designed to empower children by teaching essential life skills such as leadership, resilience, and emotional intelligence. Our courses have gained immense popularity in both London and the Middle East, particularly in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

Currently, were seeking enthusiastic candidates based in Riyadh to join our team to work as a course lead starting this summer 2024 continuing throughout the year during the school holidays. This role would be an ideal opportunity for teachers or teaching assistants seeking to elevate their impact and bolster their income during school holiday periods.

The role

  • Inspiring children to develop vital life skills.
  • Leading groups of children (no more than 15) in engaging activities and discussions.
  • Helping build confidence, resilience, and emotional intelligence.
  • 4 or 5-day courses of work at a time.
  • 8:30 – 4pm (approximately).
  • Based in Riyadh.
  • Part time, zero hours contract.

Job Profile

Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to inspire our children.

  • To deliver our bespoke life skills curriculum
  • To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children

Key Accountability

  • Lead a group of up to 15 children between 10am- 3pm each day using Role Models course content. This will involve leading discussions, facilitating games and challenges and helping the children develop their skills.
  • Be responsible for the behaviour, safeguarding, safety and welfare of all children in your group (including breaks and lunchtime).
  • Write an end of day email.
  • Write a short, personalised report for each attendee at the courses conclusion.
  • Support admin tasks such as attendance keeping, report writing etc.
  • Help set up from 8:30 am and clean up until 4 pm each day.

Person Specification

  • Minimum of two years’ experience working with young people, whether as a teacher, teaching assistant, tutor, or summer camp leader, etc.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Provide a background check or police certificate from your local authority.
  • Abundance of energy and positivity.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and initiative.
  • Passion for promoting childrens mental health.

Safeguarding

  • To comply with safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • To demonstrate a personal commitment to safeguarding and student/colleague wellbeing.
  • To ensure that any safeguarding concerns or incidents are reported appropriately in line with policy.
  • To engage in safeguarding training when required
  • Follow behaviour policy.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ﷼3,100.00 - ﷼3,500.00 per week
