Role Purpose:
We are currently looking for a Cost Manager to be based in the KSA office.
The successful candidates will be responsible for showing high levels of technical capability, sound commercial knowledge and a good understanding of the key drivers or cost and value; capturing and sharing knowledge and driving innovation in service.

What this job involves:
Provide cost and commercial services in the delivery of pre and post-contract projects,

Deliver post contract duties including payment certification, cost reporting .

Manage and update project budgets, issue client cost reports

Take suitable commercial meeting minutes,

Work closely with clients, design teams and contractors to optimize solutions,

Excellent verbal, numerical and report writing skills,

Flexible and have the ability to work to deadlines,

Use Excel and other Microsoft Office programs to an advanced level,

Experience of project procurement and differing routes available,

A track record in delivering high quality services from inception to completion,

Work pre contract including; reviewing detailed measurements, sections of BOQs, handle tender query responses, manage the PQQ process with support and input into value engineering at each design stage,

Work post contract including being strong in contract administration, comfortable on site walks with project teams, prepare cash flow reports, draft monthly payment recommendations and weekly commercial dashboards, managing variations and assist in closing out projects and claims / variations.

Desired skills and experience for this:
Previous experience working in the Middle East

Degree in related subject (BSc Quantity Surveying)

MRICS would be advantageous but not essential.

Experience pre and post contract in project / program delivery teams.

Use CostX, Excel and other Microsoft Office programs to an advanced level
