Position Title: Operator

Talent Pipeline Layer: Manage Self Operational (MS)

2. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:

Execute general work and perform duties to assist miners, with strict adherence to safety and operational regulations, rules and procedures

3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Qualification:

High school certificate (Align to Maadens requirements)

Experience:

3 Year relevant experience

Skills:

• Acute safety awareness and attitude
• Basic literacy (read and write Arabic and/or English)
• Meeting (official/regulatory) minimum standards of fitness to perform work in a mine/mine environment
• Ability to understand and follow instructions
• Basic understanding of applicable procedures
• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, materials
• Initiative

• Strictly adhere to safety regulations, rules, processes and procedures
• Help miners performing duties requiring less skill, e.g. using, supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas, tools and equipment
• Performing (under supervision) simple miner duties, e.g. stop/start machinery, basic maintenance, taking simple readings, etc.
• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances
• Assist to operate machinery
• Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing
• Execute general work instructions
• General housekeeping tasks
