Job Summary:

  • Manage all NOV FGS Field Service activities for all projects executed in the Middle East, covering the Oil & Gas, Chemical & Industrial and Marine & Offshore market segments. Responsibility to cover all FGS products, including spoolable pipe, jointed pipe (linepipe and downhole), tanks, and structures – both onshore and offshore applications.
  • Act as focal point for all Field Service-related issues and questions for ME projects – both for NOV-internal and NOV-external communications.
  • Lead and manage all Field Service teams in the Middle East.
  • Final responsibility for availability and working capacity of all ME Field Service-related assets (tools, equipment, consumables, spare parts, vehicles, etc).
  • Visible and regular presence in all Middle East countries with Field Service teams.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review work schedules and project forecast with aim of planning and assigning resources on time and within budget.
  • Follow-up with the Customer and Field Service teams working throughout different locations in ME to ensure that projects are being executed efficiently and to plan.
  • Ensure all service based invoicing is completed in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with Sales and Operations teams to ensure timely responses during project execution.
  • Interface with global field service teams on Middle East projects or potential resource needs outside of the Middle East
  • Plan & Maintain inventory for repair materials, installation tools at FGS Oman & FGS KSA.
  • Set-up and expedite cross-training and certification programs for FGS Field Service Team in ME.
  • Ensure that installation is carried out in compliance with installation procedures satisfying client & FGS safety requirements.
  • Provide technical information to customers during pre-job inspections, site inspections & during installations.
  • Ensure that all stated requirements in alignments sheets, stress analysis reports, support drawings are implemented at site.
  • Provide relevant inputs to procurement team to issue purchase orders related to field installations & repairs.
  • Plan manpower allocation to various sites. Project manpower requirement and implement necessary changes as needed.
  • Attend client meetings to understand installation, repair job requirements and provide most efficient solution.
  • Prepare site installation procedures, site visit reports, repair plans, monthly invoicing reports for field service team.
  • Track all Field Service activities in CRM.
  • Co-ordinate with FGS Technical, QC & Operations team & provide site feedback for installed products. Highlight site concerns if any at earlier stages.
  • Monitor and effectively communicate Field Service P&L for the ME to leadership.
  • Engage in process enhancements and development for all facets of product installation.
  • Travel to various job sites as and when needed. Attend all relevant client meetings.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on the development of all service related agreements.
  • Track and monitor all product installations and prepare and develop appropriate customer installation reports. Responsibility over managing field service databases.

BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

  • Computer literacy using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Good understanding of alignment sheets, stress analysis reports and support design.
  • Understanding of international codes & end user specifications.
  • Safety conscious always
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Ability to understand and follow P&ID drawings.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:

  • Five (5) years’ experience as a Field Service Representative
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent
  • Able to travel at short notice.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Must be detail-oriented with good organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent performance record in current position
  • Previous experience in Non-Metallic piping preferred.
  • Comfort in utilizing CRM platforms.
  • Ability to be able to present and speak in group settings.
