Liquid Investments

• Analyze, tabulate & interpret key market/economic data and analyze impact on portfolio holdings & deployment plan.

• Assist in ad-hoc analysis on portfolio holdings or market data.
• Assist in Liasing with counterparties in gathering quantitative and qualitative data.
• Conduct peer performance analysis as part of comprehensive research.
• Assist in Initiating and exploring new counterparty relationships and investment opportunities.
• Prepariing investment recommendations.
• Assist in conducting investment activities in compliance with regulations, IPS guidelines and limitations.
• Liaise on legal document reviews if necessary. Keep track of portfolio outstanding placements and upcoming maturities.
• Maintaining active watch over expected operational cashflow needs and surplus.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing ALM models in cooperation with Bupa actuarial team.
• Cash management for planned deployment across all asset classes and impact on the overall on demand liquidity.
• Participate along with other members in monitoring the holdings of Bupa managed portfolio.
• Assist in conducting various financial modelling & scenario analysis (e.g. related to business cashflows, investment income and portfolio holding).
• Prepare monthly investment report and Investment Committee materials.
• Assist in Communication with external/internal counterparties and trade execution.
• Assist in preparing necessary execution documents and ensure timely approvals.
• Ensure transaction entries are accurately reflected in the system.
• Ensure relevant investment activities approvals are being properly archived.
• Assist in Annual/ ad-hoc review of investment policy statement and liaise with advisor(s).
• Assist in Annual update of operating plan.
• Assist in annual/ad-hoc assessments of portfolio asset allocation.

• Good knowledge in financial instruments and money markets.
• Good knowledge in financial instruments and money markets.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good knowledge in financial statements and ratios interpretation & analysis.
• Strong understanding of local macroeconomics and its implication on market dynamics .
• Strong understanding of Excel applications and good power point / presentation skills.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).Preference will be given to bi-linguals.
• Strong background in bloomberg terminal spreadsheets and relevant functions
